I have no brothers or sisters. I've never felt alone, but I always have wanted an older sister. Perhaps this is why I like music bands of sisters. Today I bring you five bands that I love and all of them are formed by sisters.
No tengo hermanos. Nunca me he sentido sola, pero siempre he deseado tener una hermana mayor. Tal vez por ello me atraigan las formaciones musicales de hermanas. Hoy os traigo cinco bandas que me encantan y que, todas ellas, están formadas por hermanas.
1. First Aid Kit,
Who doesn't know these two Swedish sisters ... Without having reached full age, they uploaded a couple of songs to the Internet. A Swedish radio broadcasted them and so began an unstoppable career that has taken them around the world. Melodic Folk and voices that harmonize to perfection. If you still don't know them, you're missing something.

Sin haber alcanzado la mayoría edad subieron un par de canciones a internet, las emitieron en una radio sueca y así empezó una carrera imparable que les ha llevado por todo el mundo. Folk melódico con voces que armonizan a la perfección. Si no las conoces, te estas perdiendo algo.
2. The Staves,
an English acoustic folk rock trio of sisters that began performing at open-mic nights at a local pub in their hometown, Watford. The second full length album debuted at #14 on the Official UK Album Chart. In July 2015 The Staves performed with Bon Iver as guests artists and played at Glastonbury.

Two Franco-Cuban sisters, daughters of the prestigious Cuban percussionist Miguel Anga Diaz (Buena Vista Social Club), mixing magically electronic and Yoruba music, dubstep and spiritual prayers from Nigeria.

three sisters whose first release was a three-song EP titled Forever (2012) that received a lot attention from the music industry following a successful series of shows at the South by South West festival in March. Live are pure energy.

5. CocoRosie,
two Franco-American sisters of folk-acid formed in 2003 mixing different styles such us opera singing, gospel and pop lo-fi. Sierra, the eldest, was born in Iowa, and Bianca in Hawaii. His mother nicknamed them Rosie and Coco, respectively, and hence the band name. Both grew apart until 2003 met in Paris and formed CocoRosie.

dos hermanas franco-estadounidense de acid folk formado en el año 2003 que mezclan estilos tan diferentes como el canto lírico, gospel y pop lo-fi. Sierra, la mayor, nació en Iowa, y Bianca en Hawai. Su madre las llamaba Rosie y Coco respectivamente, y de ahí el nombre de la banda. Ambas crecieron separadas hasta que en 2003 se encontraron en París y formaron CocoRosie.
