On tour with NTS & BERSHKA

If there Is one thing I'm passionate about, it's live music and discovering new corners of the world through it. This year, I had the incredible opportunity to follow the NTS tour with BERSHKAMUSIC, discovering emerging artists on a journey that took me to four European cities: Warsaw, Madrid, Berlin, and Lisbon. Each stop was a unique experience, filled with great music, surprising gastronomy, and unforgettable moments with my travel companions.

Si hay algo que me apasiona, es la música en directo y descubrir nuevos rincones del mundo a través de ella. Este año he tenido la increíble oportunidad de seguir la gira de NTS con BERSHKAMUSIC, descubriendo a artistas emergentes en un tour que me llevó a cuatro ciudades europeas: Varsovia, Madrid, Berlín y Lisboa. Cada parada fue una experiencia única, llena de buena música, gastronomía sorprendente y momentos inolvidables con mis compañeros de viaje.

Five days in Occitania, France

In July we went 5 days camping in the French region of Occitania, visiting Carcassonne, Narbonne, the Canal du Midi and the African reserve of Sigean. Of course, we stayed in campsites which is what we like the most (especially my kids). We drive from Barcelona and stayed 3 nights at the Le Cerisiers du Jaur campsite and two nights at the Capfun Barbacane campsite.

En Julio fuimos 5 días de camping por la región francesa de Occitania, visitando Carcasona, Narbona, el Canal del Mediodía y la reserva africana de Sigean. Por supuesto, nos alojamos en campings que es lo que más nos gusta (sobre todo a ellos, mis dos bichos). Salimos en coche desde Barcelona y nos alojamos 3 noches en el camping Le Cerisiers du Jaur y dos noches en el camping Capfun Barbacane.

Camping at Santa Cristina d'Aro

After our wonderful experience at the Cala Montgó WeCamp, we decided to discover another WeCamp, this time in Santa Cristina d'Aro. We wanted to live the WeCamp experience 100%, feeling the summer and being able to use the pool. So, this time we booked for the end of May. In Santa Cristina they have the pool open all year round, however, in Cala Montgó they don't open it until June. When you go with children, the pool really makes a difference ;)

Tras nuestra maravillosa experiencia en el WeCamp de Cala Montgó, decidimos reservar en otro WeCamp, esta vez en Santa Cristina d'Aro. Queríamos vivir la experiencia WeCamp al 100% sintiendo el verano y pudiendo utilizar la piscina. Así que, esta vez reservamos para finales de Mayo. En Santa Cristina tienen la piscina abierta todo el año, en cambio, en cala Montgó no la abren hasta junio. Cuando vas con niños, la piscina marca realmente la diferencia ;)

Camping on the Costa Brava

End of April, we went camping in Cala Montgó, on the Costa Brava (Catalonia). It was my husband’s birthday present, and we spent a weekend at the WeCamp campsite in Cala Montgó, very close to L'Escala. The campsite was a real discovery. A beautiful campsite, where all the details are taken care of and where you would like to stay for ever! They have different types of accommodation (all of them beautiful) with a rather Nordic, minimalist, and very pleasant style. We stayed in a Bugalow Duplex, a two-story cabin that has a ceramic hob, microwave, nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and with wide beds and high quality mattresses. All materials and shades create a harmonious atmosphere that guarantees rest and disconnection. My kids loved sleeping upstairs, which was like a little house just for them.

 

A finales de Abril, fuimos de camping a Cala Montgó, en la Costa Brava (Cataluña). Era el regalo de cumple a mi pareja y pasamos un fin de semana en el camping WeCamp de Cala Montgó, muy cerca de L’Escala. El camping fue un auténtico descubrimiento. Un camping precioso, donde están cuidados todos los detalles y donde te gustaría quedarte una larga temporada! Tienen diferentes tipos de alojamientos (todos ellos preciosos) con un estilo bastante nórdico, minimalista y muy agradable. Nosotros nos alojamos en un Bugalow Duplex, una cabaña de dos pisos que cuenta con vitrocerámica, microondas, cafetera nespresso, lavavajillas y con camas anchas y colchones de alta calidad. Todos los materiales y tonalidades crean una atmósfera armoniosa que garantizan el descanso y la desconexión. A mis hijos les encantó dormir en el piso de arriba, que era como una casita solo para ellos.

It seems like it was in another life that I had a blog and an audience to whom I told about my travels and obsessions. I don't even know if the blog scene is dead or what, but the truth is that I still love being able to easily have memories of the past at hand. It's like having albums always at hand. In recent years things have changed and so have my trips... now most are focused on family trips with children 😉. So, I premiere the “with kids” section with this post from our last trip.

Parece que fue en otra vida que tenía un blog y una audiencia a la que le contaba mis viajes y obsesiones. Ni siquiera sé si el panorama blog a muerto o que, pero la verdad es que me sigue encantando poder tener fácilmente a mano los recuerdos del pasado. Es como tener álbumes siempre a mano.  En estos últimos años las cosas han cambiado y mis viajes también… ahora la mayoría están enfocados a viajes en familia con niños . Así que, estreno sección “with kids” con este post de nuestro último viaje.

10 artists to watch in 2020

These last few weeks confined I haven't been able to travel (as the mayority of you), but this gave me the  chance  to dedicate more time to another of my great passions, music. It's already clear that this year we won't be able attend music festivals, or at least not in person, because social networks hasn't stop broadcasting direct shows by great artists (which we know is not the same, but it is appreciated) . So, I have decided to bring you this post with the artists to watch out this year.

Estas ultimas semanas confinada no he viajado, pero he podido dedicar más tiempo a otra de mis grandes pasiones, la música. A día de hoy, ya parece claro que este año nos quedaremos sin festivales de música, o por lo menos sin poder verlos presencialmente, ya que las redes sociales se han convertido en la nueva plataforma para los festivales (no es lo mismo, pero se agradece). Así que, he decidido traeros este post con los artistas que darán mucho que hablar este año.
